This is a St. Louis tradition and is always served at our family gatherings! What a yummy treat to make for your family this weekend!

Gooey Butter Cake
Crust:
1 box yellow cake mix
2 eggs
1 stick melted butter
Mix together well and press into greased 13 x 9 pan.
Topping:
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
2 eggs
1 box powered sugar
Mix cream cheese and eggs together until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar and mix well until creamy and smooth. Pour over crust and bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes until top is golden.
