Bruschetta with Tomato and Basil

1 1/2 cups chopped Plum tomatoes...any will work
2 Tbs. diced red onion
1 large clove of garlic, minced
1 Tbls.chopped fresh basil 4-6 small leaves

Combine above in a medium bowl.

Add 1/2 Tbs olive oil , 1/2 teas red wine vinegar, 1/4 teaspoon salt, dash of pepper. Cover bowl and let sit in fridge for at least 1 hour.

When ready to serve the dish, preheat your broiler and slice 1/2 loaf Crusty French or Italian bread on 45-degree angle.

Combine 1 1/2 Tablespoons of oil with
1/4 teaspoon of garlic salt.....brush on bread and broil til golden

***To make this even easier I found Bruschetta crackers at the grocery store in the produce section***
